Being Involved in First Lap Incident
Indianapolis, Ind., July 1, 2006
-- In front of one of the largest crowds of the season for
the Indy Pro Series, Chris Festa brought home the damaged 51
car. Starting from the forth row, Chris Festa's day took a
turn for the worse when competitor Jon Herb drove into the No.
51 car on turn six of the first lap.

"On the start cars were going off
right and left. We made it through the first few turns then in
turn six Jon Herb came up and hit me from behind.
The car flew into the air. It broke
something. The crew tried to fix it in the pit lane but we
just couldn't see the problem. I could hardly drive the car."
The next round of the 12-race Indy Pro
Series is at Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday, July 15.
