Friday was an uneventful day. Chris' # 7 Kleeneze car
was idle in the morning session for an engine
change. In the afternoon, Tomas Enge and Chris
exercised the car one last time before the green flag
on Saturday. Chris ran times matching Tomas and
faster than he'd gone all weekend. With 25 laps now
under his belt, Chris is getting to know the car and
learning to read the traffic.
At
1:30 PM (Fox Sports coverage begins at 1;00), 73 cars
will take the green flag for the 45th running of the
Rolex 24 Hours. Chris will run in the number 2 spot
and take over from Tomas at about 2:30-3:00 PM (at
2:30 Speed TV takes over coverage). Chris should be
in the car every 3 hours after that. Sunday morning
coverage begins at 6:00 AM and runs to the checkered
flag at 1:30 PM on SpeedTV. There is a total of 15
hours of coverage.
